Return of the officers, serjeants, drummers, and private men
of the (Otway's) 35th regiment of foot, on board the
transport ships.
In the Essex, came Liuet Col. Monro, Capt. Ince, Captain
Lieutenant Gardiner, Lieutenants Boilie, Itheral, Bamford,
and Gore; Ensign Weln, and Surgeon Wilkins; together with 18
serjeants, 8 drummers, and 200 men.
In the Fortrose, came Capt. Cunningham, Lieutenants
Widderington and Cane, Ensigns Cummerford, Philipse, and
Ormsby: also 9 serjeants, 5 drummers, and 100 men.
In the Sidenham, came Capt. Bellew, Lieut. Belcher, Ensign
Brown, Mason, and Allen, William Penredy, Surgeon's Mate,
and 9 serjeants, 3 drummers, and 104 private men.
Return of the (Lord John Murray's) 42d regiment, being
Highlanders, as on board the different transports.
In the Longville, came Lieut. Col. Grant, Capt. M'cNeal,
Lieutenants Grant, Graham and Cambell, Ensigns Grant and
Cockburn, and 6 serjeants, 1 drummer, and 120 private men.
On board the Charlton; Capt. Graham, Lieutenants Campbell,
Sir James Cockburn, and Turnball, Ensign Allen Grant; Daniel
Roberson, Surgeon's Mate; and Ensign Hart of the Royal
Americans; with 4 serjeants, 4 drummers, and 118 private
men.
On board the Wilmington, Captain Reid, Campbell, and
Graeme, Lieutenants Gray, Farqurson, and Tolmie, and David
Hepburn, Surgeon; with 13 serjeants, 3 drummers and 235
private men.
In all, 59 serjeants, 24 drummers and 877 private men:
Total, 960. besides the officers.
Returns of the officers belonging to the Royal American
Regiment on board the Nottingham Man of War.
Major Provost, Capt. Herbort, Lieutenants Gallot, Fesch,
Brehm, and Weissemsel, 11 serjeants, 8 corporals, and 2
