Upon a late examination of the books belonging to the
Association Library Company, the following appear missing: .
. . Shakes's works, 3d vol. . . . Congreve's works, 1 vol. .
. .
Those persons that have any of the above books in their
possession, are earnestly requested to return them to
William Crispin clerk of the company, living in Chesnut
Street, between Front and Second Streets.
N.B. The books had the following printed label on the
inside of the binding: Belonging to the Association
Library.
