This day is published, and sold by William Evitt, at his
printing-office, the sign of the Bible-in-Heart, in
Strawberry-Alley, right opposite the Bull's-Head Tavern,
price only two shillings, the English edition is sold at
five shillings, ) The Devil Upon Crutches in England; or,
Night Scenes in London; a satyrical work written upon the
plan of the celebrated diable boiteux of Monsier Le Sage.
In two parts, by a gentleman of Oxford.
"Let these here aim'd at, tremble at this satyr,
The author's plain, he does not, cannot, will be flatter;
Tho' high in station be regards them not,
To whom related, or by whom begot." . . .
