Just imported from London, in the Richard Penn, Captain All,
a second edition of a work (entirely on a new plan) of great
humour and entertainment published there but last January,
entitled, "Epigrams of Martial &c. with a variety of Mottos
from Horace &c. translated, imitated, adopted and addrest to
the principal characters, now living in England, of both
sexes, for beauty, learning, wit, and humour, from the King
and Queen to the Gentleman and Lady; with notes moral,
historical, explanatory, and humorous."--Dedicated to
Garrick, Colman, and Foote.
By the Revd. Mr. Scott, M.A. late of Trinity College,
Cambridge.
As also a liberty sermon, preached Sunday October 25,
1772, being the anniversary of the King's accession to the
crown. Dedicated to Mr. Garrick.
To be sold at the London coffee-house.--
N.B. Some few of the characters, as follow--King, Queen,
Prince of Wales, Abp. of Canterbury, Dukes Dutchesses,
Lords, Ladies, Bishops, the Clergy, Law, Physic, Army, City-
Militia, &c. with divers other curious great folks.--
