Intimation was made to the assembly that the prizes in the
competition were ordered as follows, the number of prizes
distributed being in proportion to the number of competitors
on any subject. . . .
The whole was accompanied with music at proper intervals
and closed with prayer by the president. The performances
of the scholars and the state of the seminary without either
praise or apology we leave to the audience to determine.
