Alexander Russell, dancing master, intends on the first
Monday of September, 1774, to open school at the assembly-
room, in Lodge-Alley, for the instruction of young ladies
and gentlemen----Said Russell takes this opportunity to
return his most grateful acknowledgements to those ladies
and gentlemen, who has been pleased to favor him with the
instruction of their children; and at the same time,
solicits a continuance of their favors, while his utmost
endeavours shall be exerted to merit them.
He teaches the minuet, double minuets, rigadoon britagnes,
single, double, triple hornepipes, cotillons, with a variety
of country dances.
