Twelve dollars reward. Deserted from my comany, in the
Second class of Philadelphia militia, commanded by Col.
Sharp Delany, stationed at Billing's-port, the following
privates, viz. . . [8 lines describing two men]. Also
George Friend, a fifer in my company, who lately rode post
from Philadelphia to Baltimore,, he is about 5 feet 5 inches
high, short curly hair, a stupid ill contrived fellow, and
well known in Philadelphia. Whoever apprehends the above
deserters, and secures them, so that I may get them again,
shall have four dollars reward for each, and reasonable
charges, paid by [signed] Lazarus Pine, Captain.
