London, Feb 10.  [Report on the death of the Dowager
Princess]
Their Majesties went to Carlton-House on Friday about one-
o'clock, and remained there till an hour after her Royal
Highness's death.  Lord Bute, was likewise at Carlton-House
at the time her Royal Highness died, and had afterwards a
conference of an hour with his Majesty. Upon the above
melancholy occasion, St. Paul's great Bell, on which the
clock strikes was tolled from 11 to past 12 o'clock, when
the clapper, which weighed upwards of 100lb. weight, broke
into two pieces, and of course the tolling ceased, which was
to have continued until one o'clock.  The Playhouses, the
Opera-Houses, and places of public diversions will be shut
up for some time.
