Five Pounds Reward. Absconded on the 24th of April last,
from the subscriber, a German servant man and lad: the man
is about thirty-six years old, and about five feet ten
inches high; . . .
He is of a swarthy complexion, black straight hair, and a
black beard; he can play on the violin, and sings well to
it, writes a good hand, but does not speak much English: his
name is John Frederick Honinger, born at Speyer, a baker and
miller by trade: he is so lame that he can hardly walk.
. . . [10 lines on clothes worn and reward terms]
[signed] Sebastian Muffler, Confectioner, in Philadelphia.
