On Monday the fifth of July, the day subsequent to the
anniversary of our Independence, an Eulogium in honour of
the brave men who have fallen in the contest with Great-
Britain, was delivered in the German Calvinist Church by Mr.
Brackenridge.

A noble Band of Music favoured the occasion with marches,
symphonies and overtures, and odes were sung at proper
pauses in the delivery of the Eulogium. The entertainment
lasted about an hour, and the whole was conducted with
order, precision and elegance.
