London October 17. The late elopement from Brighthelmstone,
was Miss Wombwell, daughter of the late Sir George Wombwell,
a lady of 15, with a Mr. Roach, a gentleman of the county of
Cork, remarkable for the extraordinary operation he
submitted to have performed upon one of his eyes, two or
three years since, in Paris. Two nights dancing together in
the rooms effected the business, as they had never seen each
other, but upon those public occasions. The young lady's
fortune is nearly 30, 000l.
