French Academy. At the French Academy in Lodge-Alley, on
Friday next, the 19th instant, will be Danced, by 25
scholars of the said Academy, a Ballet representing the
Return of Peace, and the Coronation of the Success of
America. Those who perform will be uniformly in shepherd's
dress, and execute 140 different figures. There will also
be decorations and transparent fancy [?] emblematic to the
occasion. The doors will be opened at 5 o'clock in the
evening, and the ballet will begin precisely at 8. No
person but the scholars of the academy will be permitted to
dance until the Ballet shall be over. To prevent confusion
there will be but a certain number of tickets, and no money
taken at the door.
