(News from London) The Madrid Gazette announces in a very
pompous manner, the landing of the Duke de Crillon and his
army on the island of Minorca. . . and when we consider that
there are now in the garrison upwards of 4000 men all in
good health and spirits, well supplied with ammunition and
provisions, and commanded by General Murray and Sir William
Draper, two officers of approved courage and capacity, we
may reasonably suppose the Dons were rather premature both
in their Te Deum and illuminations. . .
