ringing of bells on Sunday evening. . . [9 lines]
On the same night a ball was given at the State house, by
Mr. Cruden, to a numerous and brilliant assembly of ladies
and gentleman. At 4 o'clock on Tuesday morning the company
broke up, rejoiced at the happy occasion of their meeting,
and delighted with the politeness and attention of the
gentleman, whose loyalty had called so many happy persons
together.
