Hardcastle, by Mrs. Morris Miss Neville, by Miss Storer,
Maid, by Miss Richardson, Miss Hardcastle, by Miss Hallam.

The Musical Lady:
Mask, by Mr. Byerley, Old Mask, by Mr. Morris, Freeman, by
Mr. Hughes Rosini by Mr. Roberts, Lady Scrape, by Miss

This play is truly comic. The humour is irresistible; and
pleases in the closet as well as in the theatre. Dr.
Goldsmith has been happy in the choice of his characters;
they are supported throughout with great propriety; and the
incidents that appear improbably are, in general, the
natural effects of the thoughtless sallies of a young
