Charles-Town, South-Carolina, Sept. 1.
We are favoured with the following authentic accounts of the
affair of honour which happened on the 13th ultimo --Eleven
o'clock was the hour appointed for Generals H. and G. to
meet. Accordingly--about ten minutes before eleven--but
hold--it is too good a story to be told in simple prose.
It was on Mr. Percy's land,
At Squire Rugeley's corner,
Great H and G met, sword in hand,
Upon a point of honour.
