Auction of Books. On Thursday evening the 12th April, at six
o'clock, by James Inglis, at his office in Water-Street, No.
36 will begin the sale of a very large and most splendid
collection of valuable books, on history, physic, law,
philosophy, geography, astronomy, mechanics, politics,
criticism, poetry, a few on religion, many plays, very many
famed novels, &c. &c. all by the best authors.
The books are in several languages but chiefly in English;
they are all neatly, and many of them elegantly printed and
bound; the whole collection is such as is seldom found at
an auction in this country.
Sale will continue every evening till the whole are sold
off.
