1781.
This morning Captain Broderick, Aide-de-Camp to Lieutenant
General Earl Cornwallis, arrived from Charlestown, South-
Carolina, with dispatches from his Lordship, and Lieut.
Colonel Balfour, to the Right Honourable Lord George
Germain, one of his Majesty's principal Secretaries of
State, of which the following are copies and extracts.

Charleston, dated March 17, 1781 on p. 1 and 2. On page 2,
col. 3, is a list of the killed and wounded of each brigade,
etc. for the Battle of Guilford, March 15, 1781.]

serjeants, 75 rank and file, killed; 2 Brigadier-Generals,
2 Lieutenant Colonels, 9 Captains, 4 Lieutenants, 5 Ensigns,
2 Staff Officers, 15 serjeants, 5 drummers, 369 rank and
file, wounded; 2 serjeant, 25 rank and file, missing.
