Last Thursday returned to town, Mr. Ryan, manager of the
Company of Comedians, now performing with much approbation
in this city. He lately went on particular business to
Maryland; acquitted himself in the completing it with
additional credit to an established good name; and will
appear this evening, in Young Norval, a part of Douglas,
which he performs with great reputation. This favourite
Tragedy of Mr. Home, is to be succeeded by an excellent
Pantomime, called The Witches, or, the Birth, Vagaries, and
Death of Harlequin; in which the Company have already
eminently distinguished their comic powers and mechanism, to
numerous and lively audiences.
