London, June 6. The ball that was given at court on
Wednesday in honour of his Majesty's birth day, was very
brilliant and numerous; their Majesties came into the ball
room a little before nine, when the ball was opened by his
Royal Highness the Duke of York and Princess Louisa Anne;
minuets were danced alternately by the Royal Family and
Nobility till past eleven, when their Majesties withdrew;
country dances afterwards began, which continued till past
one.
