Dancing and Fencing. Pike's Dancing School at the Long Room
in the Orange Garden, Tradd Street, will be opened for the
reception of young ladies and gentlemen as usual, on
Thursday the 8th January instant, and continue every
Thursday and Saturday. The other days he employs in
teaching at the principal boarding schools.
Attendance is given at the same place every evening in the
week, from six o'clock to nine, where gentlemen may be
instructed in the proper address, the minuet, country dance,
or in any branch of dancing they chuse.
He continues to teach the use of the small sword, from five
o'clock to nine every morning in the week; the utility of
his method is sufficiently apparent by the performance of
his scholars.
