Beaufort, June 27, 1767, Just Imported in the ship Rose-
Island, from London, and the last vessels from Bristol; A
neat and compleat sortment of European and East India goods,
amongst which are a variety of English and India chintz,
callicoes and humhums . . . [There follows a long list of
items, running 84 lines, and containing only one musical
item, "violins."], and sundry items too tedious to mention,
to be sold, on the most reasonable terms, at my store in
Beaufort, kept by Mr. Peter Lavin. Samuel Grove.
