London, January 16, 1769. The Enchantment. Scene, a room
in a prison; in the middle, a cauldron full of human gall,
boiling over a fire in a great chafing dish. Thunder.
Enter the three wayward brothers. First Wizard, J. W-lk-s;
second wizard, J. H-rn; third wizard, H. C--t-s
First Wizard, J.W.
Nor sense nor law protect thee now,
Of peace the hatred Treaty thou,
Made by the cursed, lousy Scot,
Shall help to boil th' inchanted pot.
All. Double, double, toil and trouble,
fire burn, and cauldron bubble.
