For the benefit of Signora Castella and M. Vanhagen, lately
arrived here from Europe; on Thursday next, October 27th, at
Mr. Valk's long room with the approbation of the managers of
the St. Coecilia Society, will be performed a Grand Concert
of Vocal & Instrumental Musick, consisting of three acts as
will be expressed in the bills. The vocal parts and
performance on the vox humana or musical glasses by Signora
Castella. The instrumental parts by M. Vanhagen, M. Vidal,
Mr. Abercromby, Mr. Franceschini and others. Tickets,
without which no person can be admitted, may be had at Mr.
Wells's the Great Stationary & Book Store, at the Coffee
House, at Mr. Calvert's in Church Street, and of Signora
Castella at Mrs. Cox's in Tradd Street. Price one dollar
each. To begin at six o'clock precisely.
