John Abercromby begs leave to acquaint the publick that he
proposes opening a dancing school after the Christmas
holidays to teach young ladies and gentlemen the minuet,
minuet dauphin, minuet by four, louvre, rigaudon, English
country dances, paspied, bretange, new cotillion, allemande,
and other fashionable dances. Those who may please to honor
him with the instruction of their children in this branch of
polite education may depend on his utmost care and
attention. He lodges at Mrs. Deveaux's opposite the White
Meeting, where he will be happy to receive their commands.
He also teaches the guitar, and ladies and gentlemen may be
waited on at their own houses if agreeable to be taught that
instrument or dancing.
