Last week the noted horse stealer Gabriel Cunningham, who stands sentenced to be whipt the beginning of every quarter of the year, during life, for returning from transportation; was whipt through the city; and a centinel of Col. Montague's Regiment was led thro' the Cannon Gate, with a haltar about his neck, and drumm'd out of the Regiment to the tune, Cuckolds come dig, dig, dig, for thieving, &c. |
