London, March 31. . . Last week the following most audacious
letter was sent to Mr. Preston, cow-keeper at Mile-End,
supposed from some of Hutchenson's acquaintance, which
Hutchenson was committed to Newgate by Justice Farmer in
January last, . . .
"God dam your bloods for a parcel of Hell hounds, we know
your transactions about our old friend Jack Hutchenson, and
what want he is in, we are informed of, therefore God dam
your bloods and souls, ye sons of Hell, prepare yourselves
to tumble into damnation, for by God the the first
opportunity we can get to blow your brains out, you shall be
sent to keep your Easter in Hell, except you, God dam you,
use him well, and send him good relief immediately. . . [4
lines] mind this; dam your blood, prepare to dance a jigg in
the Devil's ken."
