Paris, Aug 8. The Sieur Baudart, Gentleman machinist to
King Stanislaus, shews at his house at the Courtille near
this city, a clock of his own making, representing the fable
of Perseus and Andromeda: The whole is in relievo, set with
curious scenes and fine pearls, and adorn'd with several
figures which have motion; among which there is a dragon
that claps its wings and lolls out its tongue; there is
likewise a chime which plays a tune every hour, changes the
tune of itself, and goes eight days without winding up. . .
