I say as was foreseen, for the temper of this gentleman in
particular, (if in truth he be, as it is impossible from his
style he can be any other than a certain V.D.M. that has so
often loaded the press with his productions, ) seemed so
much to resemble AT-ALL in the play, that it was imagined he
would not suffer any thing to appear in print against his
Idol, without making an attempt to combate it; . . . [2
