London. . . By a private letter from Bath we hear, that it
being given out that Mr. Whitefield, in his progress at the
beginning of last month design'd to disturb the water-
drinkers there, it was resolv'd by Mr. Nash in council, to
order the City Musick to keep time with him in his open
air'd conventicle, the churches being very justly refus'd
him.
