Thopen, Sept. 20. On the 19th there arrived a French
drummer here, to invite, as 'tis said, the Bourgomasters and
Aldermen of the city of Berg-op-zoom to return thither, in
order again to take upon them the government of that city;
but as none of them were here, no answer could be given to
this message. This day we sent a drummer to Berg-op-zoom,
to demand that the wounded of the troops of the garison
which remained there might be transported to our hospitals,
in order to be cured. . .
