Edmund Larken, organist, from London, begs leave to inform
such gentlemen and ladies who are desirous of being
instructed, in the art of playing upon the harpsichord,
spinnet, and singing with the instruments, that he proposes
to teach them on the following conditions, viz.
Each pupil who chooses to be taught at home, to pay 12 L.
at entrance, and the same sum per month, which will be eight
lessons, at twice a week, and an hour's attendance each
lesson.
To such who are willing to take their lessons at his own
house, 8 L. entrance, and the same per month.
N.B. All gentlemen and ladies who require their
instruments to be tuned, &c. are desired to send them to the
advertiser's house next door to Mr. Crokatt's on the Bay,
who will perform that business with all possible expedition,
and as reasonable as the repairs will admit of.
