London, Dec. 30.  A Tragedy, written by the famous Mr.
Voltaire, entituled The Duke of Foix, has been lately
brought upon the stage at Paris, and receiv'd with great
applause; though the critics are divided in their opinions
about it; some affirming it to be the best of all his
dramatic pieces, while others content themselves with
saying, that if the author would review and retouch it, very
possibly it might be made so.
