The subscriber gives this public notice, that he purposes
teaching the German Flute, in the evenings, at his house in
Church-Street, opposite Mr. Benjamin Smith's, on the usual
terms: And he assures those who may become his scholars,
that they may depend on his not only using his utmost
endeavours towards their speedy instruction, and improvement
in their practical performances, but also on his taking all
the pains and care imaginable in making them acquainted with
the Time or Theory of Music, so as to enable them to execute
the most difficult pieces in concert. He will also wait on
gentlemen (who don't chuse, or whose business will not
permit them, to attend upon him) at their houses.
