From the Westminster Journal.
. . . [Article on activities of the Gods Jupiter, Mercury,
Juno, and Pluto]
. . . [Mercury goes on a search for truth and virtue]
He next addressed himself to a rosy-fac'd priest, who

[Virtue]
The God obeyed, and came into a magnificent suite of
apartments, which were filled with company of all sorts.
Some were playing at dice, and other games, mingling the

talking of public affairs, but every one with an eye to his
own private interest; and great numbers diverted themselves
in singing, dancing and making love.
