Dancing, &c. Taught.
Mr. Pike having opened his Dancing-School for young ladies
and gentlemen, at the house lately occupied by Mr. Lambert
Lance, teaches at 9 o'clock in the morning and 3 in the
afternoon, at one Guinea entrance, and ten Pounds per
quarter. The Ball will be in the spring.
He will likewise open an Evening-School, to teach all the
modern and country dances, in the most genteel taste.
The School for teaching the Small Sword is already opened
(by permission) at the Watch-House.
He takes this opportunity of returning thanks to the ladies
and gentlemen that have already employed him, and begs leave
to assure them, that it shall be his chief study to merit a
continuance of their favours, by his assiduity and care.
