Mrs. Swallow, begs leave to inform the public, that she
intends, on Monday the 5th day of November next, to open a
boarding-school, at a new house in Broad-Street, the next
door to his honour the lieutenant-governor; where young
ladies will be instructed in the English language, writing
and arithmetic, all kinds of fashionable needle-work,
dancing, music and drawing.
She will be much obliged to those gentlemen and ladies,
who please to favour her with the care of their daughters
education, and hopes her assiduity therein, will give entire
satisfaction. . . .
