Joshua Lockwood, after strictly adhering to the resolutions,
in not importing; has at last imported the following goods,
by Capt. Maitland; and sundry others will be added upon the
arrival of the first vessels from London, especially silver
spoons, &c, in the plate way, the present assortment is . .
. a large assortment of violins, spare bows and strings for
ditto. . . . The above goods were sent him by the makers,
upon which account can sell nearly as low as the shops in
London, from whence most of the goods sold are here bought.
