London, April 17. On Tuesday evening the celebrated and
facetious Ned Shuter, [Actor] attended by several of Lord
Mansfield's servants, arrived in perfect health at the
King's Bench Prison. He appears highly pleased with the
different scenes that present themselves to his view, enters
with great spirit into the genius of the inhabitants, and
accompanied by his bottle and his favourite Jack-Ass, is
happy himself, and continues to promote chearfulness amongst
his dropping fellow-sufferers.
[N.B. The cause for his imprisonment is unknown.]
