Letters from Birmingham say, that as soon as the news relating to the Stamp-act arrived there on Sunday, the bells were directly set a ringing, other demonstrations of joy shewn in the different parts of the town, and some hundreds of journey-man artificers, who had been long unemployed, were immediately engaged again for the different manufactures carried on at that place. |
