Charlestown, [Massachusetts] May 19. This day being set
apart for publick rejoicings, on account of the repeal of
the Stamp-act, the dawn was ushered in with the ringing of

gentlemen of this town gave an elegant ball upon the happy
occasion of the repeal of the Stamp-act.
