The subscriber takes this method of returning his most
grateful acknowledgement to those gentlemen and ladies who
have honoured him with their children's instruction in
dancing; and begs leave further to assure them, that his
chief study will be, (by his assiduity) to endeavour to meet
the recommendation of the public in general. --He teaches
minuets, hornpipes, country dances, and rigadoons, in an
easy and expeditious manner, with all the other dances now
in vogue in Europe. His hours for young ladies, and days of
attendance are, Tuesday's, Thursday's and Saturday's, from
five in the afternoon to seven; and for gentlemen, Monday's,
Wednesday's and Friday's, from seven to nine. [signed] Peter
Lyons.
N.B. For the better accommodating his scholars, he has
removed from Gadsden's Alley, to the house of Mrs. Strother,
in King-street, next door to Mr. Robert Harvey's.
