For the benefit of the debtors in gaol. On Thursday the
seventh of April, at the Bacchus Theatre on the Bay, will be
presented the noted
Bayly's Medley of Entertainments, consisting of his uncommon
performances, by dexterity of hand, in a manner different
from all other performers of the juggling art.
With the facetious humours of Mr. Punch, his family, and
company of artificial comedians, near four feet high.
By whom will be performed, several new entertaining
drolls, burlesques, &c. &c.
With a court of thirty figures, or Assembly of maids and
batchelors.
With a pantomime droll; and a curious piece of machinery,
representing a view of the sea, in which are seen several
ships sailing, fish, sea-monsters, &c. swimming, and the
ships of war engaging the castle of Goree.
With the curious performances of Punch's son; and sundry
exhibitions too tedious to enumerate.
To begin precisely at VII o'clock, each evening.
Tickets, without which no person can be admitted, may be had
at any time at the bar. Boxes, 20s. Pit, 15s. Gallery, 10s.
