By permission of his Honour the Lieutenant-Governor. To-
morrow evening, at Mr. Grey's Tavern, on the Bay, will be
read three books of Milton's Paradise Lost.
By a person just arrived from the southward, where he has
read with applause, and as he is not unacquainted with
accent and emphasis, he flatters himself he shall be able to
do his sublime author some tolerable degree of justice, at
least his warmest endeavours will not be wanting.
If he is so happy as to please, and meet with
encouragement, he intends on Friday next, to read a play,
and between the acts will be musick, vocal and instrumental.
Tickets to be had at the bar of the house at twenty
shillings each. To begin precisely at seven o'clock. No
person to be admitted without a ticket.
