Charles-town, October 6, 1768. Proposals for publishing by
subscription,
Six Sonatas, for the Harpsichord or Organ; with an
accompanyment for a Violin, composed by Peter Valton, Opera
Prima.
To be printed on a good paper, and delivered to the
subscribers sometime next spring, if the plates can be
engraved and sent by that time;
Each subscriber to pay four pounds currency per set, on
delivery of the book.
Those who subscribe for six sets to have a seventh gratis.
The subscribers names to be printed.
Those who intend to encourage this work are requested to
send their names to Peter Valton, Mr. Peter Timothy, or Mr.
Robert Wells.
