Court of General Sessions, April 18, 1771.
Ordered, that the presentments of the Grand Jury, at this
present sessions, be forthwith published in the several
gazettes of this Province.

South-Carolina.
The Presentments of the Grand Jurors for the body of this
Province at a Court of General Sessions of the Peace, Oyer,
and Terminer, Assize and General Goal Delivery, begun and
holden at Charles-Town, on Monday the 15th day of April,
1771.

XIV. We present John Shaghnussy as guilty of a Nuisance, in
performing, by himself and his associates, Legerdemain
Tricks, thereby collecting a number of idle, loose, and
disorderly persons, to the Disturbance of the Peace.
XV. We present the Constables of Charles-Town, for making
proclamation by Beat of Drum, with regard to Run-Away
Negroes, and other matters of private concern, to the
Disturbance of the Inhabitants, and the Danger of Persons
passing through the streets on horseback or in carriages.
