Dancing. Pike's annual Ball, for the young ladies and
gentlemen under his tuition, will be on Wednesday, April 8,
1772, at his new suit of rooms, in Church-Street.
The Ball begins precisely at five o'clock.
The doors will be opened at four.
Tickets to be had at his house adjoining the Assembly Room.
There will be an Assembly for the company, the minute the
Ball is over, with Tea, Coffee, &c.
[Hand pointing to the right] He hopes the ladies and
gentlemen will not take it amiss, when they are informed
that he is obliged to keep the doors locked while teaching,
as it is impossible to compleat the children in their
figures while company are constantly coming and going, as it
entirely takes off their attention.
