John Abercromby, begs leave to acquaint the public, that he
proposes opening a dancing-school after the Christmas
holidays, to teach young ladies and gentlemen the minuet,
minuet dauphin, minuet by four, louvre, rigadoon, English
country dances, paspied, Bretagne, new cotillon, allemande,
and other fashionable dances.
Those who may please to honour him with the instruction of
their children in this branch of polite education, may
depend on his utmost care and attention. He lodges at Mrs.
Deveaux's opposite the White-Meeting, where he will be happy
to receive their commands.
*** He also teaches the guitar, and ladies and gentlemen
may be waited on at their own houses, if agreeable, to be
taught that instrument or dancing.
