Last Thursday, about 5 o'clock in the morning, a fire broke
out in the Printing Office of Mr. John Mycall, of Newbury-
Port; by which, that, and about 11 other buildings were
consumed; --among them the dwelling houses of Capt. Nicholas
Tracy, and Capt. Rogers.
Mr. Mycall's loss, by the above accident, is very great.
Besides two printing-presses, and nearly 6000 lb. of types,
he lost 12 or 14 thousand of psalm-books, spelling-books,
psalters, and other books, bound and in sheets, and a number
of other articles of value.
