Boston, May 27. . . [public notice of death of Prince of
Wales, procession of public officials] from the Council-
chamber to the Old South Meeting-House: they were preceded
by the Governor's company of Cadets, under the command of
Col. Pollard, in military mourning, and with arms reversed,
the drums, colours, and officers staves covered with black,
at the company's expense. . .
